Real Turmat Beef stew is a complete dehydrated meal with stewed beef and rice, ideal for long expeditions and short trips. It is made from fresh, high-quality Norwegian ingredients, which are first completely cooked and then dehydrated using a special freeze-drying process. This keeps the food's natural flavor and makes it feel like home-cooked food, not like a typical "expedition" mix.
 

The food has a long shelf life, is light in weight, and is very easy to prepare right in the bag. Just pour hot water up to the marked line, stir, let stand, and you're ready to eat - ideally straight from the package to maintain the temperature. The food is lactose-free and dairy-free, but contains gluten, soy, and celery.
