ORTOVOX Westalpen 3L women's pants

The new ORTOVOX WESTALPEN 3L line is created for the most demanding alpinists who are looking for the perfect combination of durability, protection and functionality.

The three-layer DERMIZAX ® NX membrane provides excellent protection even in the most demanding weather conditions, and the technical processing meets the needs of all alpinists. In addition, the flexible sports cut ensures that it will not hinder your movement even in the most extreme steps on rock, ice or in mixed terrain.

Waterproof membrane DERMIZAX® NX

DERMIZAX® NX is a non-porous membrane manufactured by the Japanese company Toray. Ease of maintenance, long service life and pleasant lining are the main reasons why you should be interested in this membrane . Despite its low weight, it has excellent breathability and water resistance. Taped seams offer maximum water resistance and the entire jacket has a water-repellent DWR treatment.

Inner circumferential belt made of fine wool

The pants are equipped with 120 MERINO TEC material in the waist around the entire inner circumference, which is very pleasant to the touch. 120 MERINO TEC wicks away sweat and is comfortable even after getting wet. Wool absorbs moisture into its core and is dry on the surface. Sweat dripping from the back is absorbed into the waist and does not flow down to the pants.

The highest quality Merino wool

ORTOVOX uses only the highest quality Merino wool from Tasmania. Merino wool is a material that degrades only negligibly over time and retains its functional properties for many years. Merino wool comes only from selected farms that meet the strict ORTOVOX WOOL PROMISE (OWP) standards.

Ergonomic cut and pre-shaped knees
The lining is made of a material that does not stick to the skin even when wet. This provides excellent mobility and the pants will not stick even during demanding activity when you sweat a lot
Made from two-way stretch material, any movement in them will be a breeze
You can tighten the trousers at the waist with Velcro, and there are also loops for suspenders. Nothing will press you even in combination with a climbing harness
The trousers have integrated gaiters against snow, can be tightened around the ankle and on the inner side of the calves are reinforced with durable material with a combination of Dyneema and Cordura fibers
The trousers can be unzipped using a ¾ two-way zipper, you can unzip them from the bottom or the top, or just create a ventilation opening
The bottom of the unzipped trousers can be secured with a metal snap
Zippers have locks and do not unzip on their own
Four practical pockets - two front hand pockets, one back pocket and one thigh pocket. All pockets are zippered

This legendary German company named Ortovox has been specializing in challenging mountain activities since 1980. They became popular, thanks to their avalanche transceiver ORTOVOX F2. It had a double frequency transceiver for searching avalanche victims.
