ORTOVOX Brenta Women's Shorts

The ORTOVOX BRENTA women's shorts combine everything needed for a demanding high-alpine tour. They are robust, breathable, and comfortable enough not to restrict your movement in any way. You'll be surprised by the technical details, such as the adjustable waistband and the pocket for a map or a compass. In the rain, you can rely on them thanks to the DWR surface treatment.



New design, new challenges

The MERINO SHIELD LIGHT line is now even more technical – making it ideal for demanding mountain tours. Features like the hook-and-loop adjustable waistband and seamless, laser-bonded details make the BRENTA SHORTS a truly technical piece of mountain clothing.



Comfortable to wear

Thanks to the slim fit and extremely stretchy material, they fit you perfectly, won't restrict you, and will give you enough freedom of movement in every situation.

Furthermore, the comfort is enhanced by mesh inserts made of merino wool in the waistband and inside the pockets. Two zip pockets and a map pocket on the right thigh offer enough space for various small items such as a map, mobile phone, or energy bar.



Maximum durability

The main MERINO SHIELD LIGHT material is made of 91% polyamide, making it extremely durable, as evidenced by the fact that it withstands over 100,000 abrasion cycles in the Martindale test, which measures material resistance to abrasion. This means it is one of the most durable materials ORTOVOX uses. The MERINO SHIELD LIGHT line is therefore particularly suitable for sharp rocks and adventurous expeditions that require thorough protection and comfort.



Highest quality Merino wool

ORTOVOX uses only the highest quality Merino wool from Tasmania. Merino wool is a material that degrades negligibly over time and retains its functional properties for many years. Merino wool comes only from selected farms that meet the strict ORTOVOX WOOL PROMISE (OWP) standards.



These farms are regularly monitored within the OWP. The wool itself is 100% ecological, and therefore also extremely environmentally sustainable. Merino wool provides perfect comfort and a soft feel thanks to the fine fibers from which fine woolen yarns are made. In addition, this wool excellently regulates temperature and wicks away sweat, so you will feel comfortable in any conditions. On top of all this, Merino wool neutralizes odors thanks to its antibacterial properties and is very easy to care for.

It had a double frequency transceiver for searching avalanche victims. Except for safety systems and finders, they also offer apparel, backpacks, shovels, probes, and other freeride and alpine equipment.
