Opinel Vri N°08 Inox Animalia Knife

Folding knife Opinel of traditional shape with stainless steel blade. Part of the Opinel Animalia America collection. The handle made of French oak is decorated with laser engraving with a highlighted depiction of a bear with cubs.



The blade is characterized by excellent sharpness and high resistance to abrasion (wear), thanks to which it withstands regular contact with hard materials, such as ceramics, before requiring re-sharpening. The advantage of stainless steel is that, unlike carbon steel, under normal conditions of use, it does not require any special maintenance. Nevertheless, it may encounter its limits when it comes into prolonged contact with an aggressive environment (acid, salt water, detergents...).

The blade is made of top-quality Sandvik stainless steel, which makes it durable, non-corrosive, and keeps it sharp for a long time.
The oak wood used for the handle comes from sustainably managed French forests
The handle is lacquered against moisture and dirt
