The Mutant shoes from the Italian brand La Sportiva are ideal for running in forests, off-road trails, and various other terrains. The shoes have an abrasion-resistant upper, which will surely come in handy in forest terrain, and also feature perfect traction for better stability. The SpyralTongue™ technology combines the advantages of a fast and well-fitting shoe with a traditional tongue and the protective functions of the shoe with an integrated gaiter, as protection against stones and mud getting into the shoe while running. The lacing system is integrated into the upper using FusionGate™ technology with high-density reinforcements and is pulled out from the midsole and hot-melted with plastic protection.
