The POWERFLOW MAX foam takes care of cushioning with an ideal balance between softness, responsiveness, and energy return. The overall comfort is significantly influenced by the 6 mm BOOMERANG sockliner made of highly energetic TPU foam. The combination of comfort and liveliness achieved in the TERRA ULTRA G 270 is incomparable to any INOV-8 shoes of the "old era".
Total cushioning level incl. sockliner is 18 mm. This value is high enough for you to run comfortably for an infinitely long time, and at the same time low enough for the entire shoe to remain maximally flexible and to read the terrain excellently. The zero drop also supports high proprioception, which even beginner and hobby runners need not fear thanks to the overall softness of the cushioning.
The zero drop remains a specific feature of this model. However, thanks to the sophisticated cushioning, the TRAILFLY G 270 is more accessible even to less experienced runners who do not have ideal forefoot running technique. Thanks to the thicker midsole, the protection of the foot against impacts when running on rocky trails has also significantly increased.
Low weight is an important feature. In addition to saving energy, the positive effect is also reflected in high dynamics and responsiveness. You will utilize these properties primarily during tempo runs and races on mixed surfaces. The responsive TPU cushioning ensures that you won't want to run slowly in these shoes.
The all-round outsole has a reliable grip even on more technical trails and soft ground. Great emphasis is still placed on the versatility of the entire shoe, so the grip is not so aggressive that it limits you when running on roads and paved paths. The use of graphene for an unparalleled balance between grip and durability is a matter of course.
The upper remains on the widest last (5, standard fit), but the protective 3D TPU layer has been slightly redesigned. The front part of the shoe is now more open to provide maximum space for toes and the transverse arch. The midfoot lockdown inside the shoe is then sufficient for fast movement even on technically demanding terrain. The TRAILFLY G 270 uses a combination of structured fabric covered with durable rubber, thanks to which the upper fits the foot like a glove.
