The midsole has an 8-millimeter drop and offers 16 millimeters of cushioning under the heel. This is a sufficiently high layer to provide the necessary comfort for volume training or light jogging on paved roads. At the same time, this robustness allows for perfect sensitivity and feel for the landing, which is further enhanced by the hybrid outsole.
On the F-LITE FLY, you won't find a classic rubber tread, but a hybrid rubber-foam contact surface. This hybrid outsole gives the shoe extreme flexibility, as nothing hinders bending in the absence of rigid rubber. The grip on paved surfaces, for which the F-LITE FLY is intended, is perfect both dry and wet. Durability is also seamless thanks to the presence of graphene, meeting the standard of road volume shoes.
The upper stretched on last number 5 (on a scale of 1-5, it is the widest fit inov-8) is spacious enough even for athletes with a wider foot shape and points to the dual nature of the F-LITE FLY. This shoe can be used not only for road running but also for intense workouts outdoors and indoors. Unlike classic running shoes, the F-LITE FLY has an upper with more intense lateral stabilization, provided by a more robust knit structure around the instep. You will search in vain for hard and firm reinforcement elements, so any blisters or chafing are absolutely not a risk. The foot will not move in the shoe even during intense changes of direction and dynamic exercises, while during endurance running, you will not notice any difference from a classic running shoe.
