Bridgedale Storm Heavyweight Knee Waterproof Socks

Heavyweight waterproof knee socks with a height below the knees. With membrane and merino wool inside. For activities below 0°C and keeping warm even in really cold weather.

When the going gets tough and the cold and humidity combine, it's the right time to wear waterproof socks that will keep your feet warm and protect you from frostbite, for example. Bridgedale waterproof socks have a Hydrotech membrane with a water column of 10,000 mm and a vapor permeability of 15,000 g/ m2 /24h. On the outside, nylon knitwear protects the membrane from damage, and on the inside, merino wool, which is odor-resistant and warms even when wet, maintains a pleasant climate.

These heavy-weight (HW = heavyweight) waterproof socks are suitable for really cold conditions below 0°C, for example for snowshoeing, winter hiking, or even when fishing or working outdoors. But be careful - there's no getting around physics, so even waterproof socks have their limits. Sometimes they are inappropriate, other times they are indispensable.
