It's always good to think of a plan B. This includes having waterproof clothing with you even in good weather. After all, mountains are inscrutable. The waterproof RAINFALL PANT is designed as a backup piece of clothing. They are made of DRILITE® membrane and their advantage is full-length side zippers, low weight and very good packability.
Lightweight two-layer DRILITE® membrane
The advantage of the KARAKORAM MOUNTAIN PANT is their very good packability. Waterproofness is guaranteed by the two-layer DRILITE® PLUS membrane of high 50D fineness, which is more than enough for a backup piece of clothing.
DRILITE® is a hydrophilic, monolithic polyurethane membrane that has all three important properties – water resistance, breathability and abrasion resistance. Its water column is 20,000 mm, and in terms of breathability, water vapor permeability reaches a value of 20,000 g/sqm/24. The membrane works on the principle of transporting water vapor through the molecular structure of the membrane and at the same time forms a barrier against the passage of water molecules from the outside. The advantage of this membrane is its low weight and good packability.

Two-way full-length zippers
The trousers are equipped with two-way, padded YKK® zippers. After unzipping it, it allows you to put it on comfortably without having to take off your shoes.
If you're looking for backup waterproof pants for the mountains and you don't expect long hikes in them, RAINFALL PANT should be in your sights. They are really light in terms of weight and if it rains, you can easily wear them over shoes or a seat thanks to the two-way zippers.
