Extremely light, windproof women's vest WINDBREAKER with a minimum size when packed is ideal for alpine hiking or climbing. Unique material

A special feature is the lining made of MERINO PROTECT material. It is a unique mixture of materials containing 55% merino wool fibers that regulate temperature and humidity and are pleasant on the skin. On the surface is the wind-resistant TEC-STRETCH material, which is flexible and optimally copies your every movement. It provides reliable protection against wind and adverse weather in the mountains.

The highest quality Merino wool

ORTOVOX uses only the highest quality Merino wool from Tasmania. Merino wool is a material that degrades only negligibly over time and retains its functional properties for many years.

Properties of Merino wool:

It can naturally regulate moisture - it absorbs moisture into its internal structure and remains dry on the surface
It can naturally regulate body temperature - it has a large thermoregulatory range
It is 100% environmentally friendly and ecologically sustainable
It has antibacterial properties, thanks to which it can neutralize odors
It is soft, does not scratch and is comfortable to wear
It is easy to maintain and has a long service life

ORTOVOX has demanding criteria for sheep breeding itself, which significantly affects the quality of its wool. In order to fulfill this, ORTOVOX only buys wool from a few selected farms that are subject to regular inspections and that meet the strict standards of the ORTOVOX WOOL PROMISE (OWP).

These farms are regularly monitored as part of the OWP. The wool itself is 100% ecological and therefore extremely environmentally sustainable. In addition, this wool perfectly regulates temperature and wicks away sweat, so you will feel comfortable in any conditions. In addition, Merino wool neutralizes odors thanks to its antibacterial effects, and it is very easy to care for.
