Norse company Devold produces wool base layers. In 1853, Ole Andreas Devold founded this company in Ålesund. A tradition dating back as this one is unique - it is surely the oldest producer of the wool base layer in the world.
Devold's base layers range from the light collection ''Breeze'' (which is best for the warmer months and sweatier activities) to the ''Expedition'' collection (best for very cold conditions). Other than base layers for every activity, they also make sweaters, headwear, gloves, socks and more.

Kvalita slušná, aj keď aj u Devoldu sa mi vidí, že časom upadá. Moje najstaršie 2 tričká od Devoldu majú 15 rokov (!), nosené často každú zimu a majú len zo tri-štyri malé dierky a mierne vystrapkaný lem okolo krku. Tieto nové "edície" ktovie kde vyrábajú a už nepôsobia takým kvalitným ani trvanlivým dojmom. Toto po niekoľkých šetrných praniach je už teraz akési vetché.
