CRUX™
The new CamelBak Crux ™ water reservoir not only has a narrow flattened profile, which saves space in the backpack, but thanks to the wider diameter of the tube, it can ensure 20% better hydration. Easy handling of the reservoir is made possible by the handle, which fits well in the hand. Opening and closing of the wide opening is ensured by a sealing cap. The mouthpiece cap has also been improved, which is now placed on the tube in an ergonomic position and its closure is intuitive.

The CRUX ™ reservoir received the Design and Innovation Award 2017 for its innovative solution.

Water reservoirs and hydration from CamelBak
When Michael Edison competed in the "Hotter 'n Hell 100" bike race in 1989, he needed some handsfree hydration. He put an IV bag full of water into his sock and dragged a hose under his jersey to his shoulder. And the first hydration pack in the world was born. Their journey to success was rocky, but today they are globally familiar among cyclists, hikers and climbers. They even sell to the military.
