Mountain Equipment Aerostat Down 7.0 Mat inflatable sleeping mat

An inflatable sleeping pad that, thanks to innovative technology with 180 g of feathers inside, ensures that your insulation from the ground will work even at temperatures of -40 ° C. Whether you sleep in a tent, winter room, bivouac or directly on the snow and ice. Thanks to its low weight and great packability, it will become essential equipment for all your overnight stays. All this and the thickness of the mat 7 cm will provide high comfort for a peaceful sleep.

The sleeping pad is made of 30 denier Ripstop material, which is compressible, abrasion-resistant and, thanks to the protective TPU lamination, does not absorb moisture. It maintains a high level of packability so that the mat does not take up too much space in the backpack.

All sleeping mats are tested to the new ASTM F3340 standard. In addition, Mountain Equipment mentions a " Good Night Sleep Guaranteed " value, which in this case is -40°C. This value was measured using real-world conditions and takes into account factors such as wind and humidity.

The low weight, thickness of 7 cm, high packability and excellent insulation predetermine the Aerostat Down mat for year-round use from a tent to a bivouac on a glacier. When it will provide you with insulation even at -40 °C and thanks to the weight of 735 g (regular) it will hardly weigh you down.

High-quality sleep is one of the basic requirements for full-fledged regeneration with every ascent. When sleeping in direct contact with a cold surface, cooling occurs 60 times faster than with outside air, so it is essential to have quality insulation underneath.

Inside the chambers of the sleeping pad is high-quality duck down. It comes from China and contains at least 90% down, its fill power is at least 700 cuin and meets the ethical DOWN CODEX ®
Vertical Helix baffle chambers, which are filled with a foam spiral inside, preventing unwanted movement of feathers inside the sleeping pad, which would cause unwanted cooling of the body
30D ripstop fabric with TPU lamination
Two-way valve for comfortable inflation and deflation of the sleeping pad. When removed, the sleeping pad is quickly and completely deflated, making it quick and easy to pack.
Comes with a Windsock™ bag for easy inflation, can also be used as a lightweight stuff sack. During inflation , the mat is sealed with a one-way valve extension
The filling bag is an integral part of the sleeping bag, so you'll never forget it at home.
