The new version of the MUDTALON SPEED v2 is a trail running shoe designed for fast running in mud, wet and waterlogged terrain. A lightweight, agile mud cross-country shoe, ideal for OCR races, orienteering or canicross.
The new shoe upper has everything you need for challenging terrain. It is reinforced with KPU material, which increases durability. The breathable nylon material is also water-repellent and resistant to mechanical damage. The sewn-in tongue prevents mud, stones, and other debris from getting in – which is essential for off-road shoes.
The stabilizing cradle from the laces to the cushioning layer ensures secure foot fixation at any pace and slope. This narrow Precision variant has a specially expanded toe box that allows for a natural and efficient bounce, something every trail runner will appreciate.
The FLYSPEED PRO nitrogen-filled cushioning foam is light, flexible, and soft at the same time - ideal for trail running shoes. Together with a 6 mm high BOOMERANG insole, it provides 11 mm of cushioning under the heel, ensuring comfort even on longer runs. The 4 mm drop supports dynamic stride guidance - perfect for fast trail running.
There is also META PLATE, a flexible reinforcement that protects the foot from being punctured by sharp stones, while maintaining the flexibility of the shoe. Aggressive 8 mm studs provide traction, digging into the mud like claws and holding you in even the worst conditions.
The STICKY GRIP sole is made of rubber with exceptional grip, inspired by climbing boots - it holds on even on wet rock and slippery roots. MUDTALON SPEED thus meets the demanding requirements of every orienteer, mountaineer, cross-country skier, OCR racer or canicrosser.
