The Grivel FLEX BAR is a flexible and elastic connecting segment for Grivel crampons, designed for use with soft hiking boots. It allows the foot to bend naturally when walking, increasing comfort and reducing strain on the connecting segment even during long-term use. It is ideal for glacier walking and classic mountain terrain, but is not designed for steep vertical ice.
The segment works similarly to a shock absorber - it absorbs movement and vibrations between the shoe and the crampon, making the shoe attachment more stable and less strained. It comes in a pair and is a practical addition for users who want to adapt their hiking crampons to softer footwear.
