DMM Shadow HMS Kwicklock carbine
The Shadow HMS is a large yet lightweight HMS carabiner with a double Kwicklock safety, which is a cornerstone for traditional climbing. At the same time, handling it is slightly faster and more intuitive than the triple-action Locksafe version, which you will appreciate especially when opening and closing frequently.The Kwiklock is popular with climbers who want the convenience of an automatic lock but find the triple action (Locksafe) unnecessarily complicated. It's great for attaching a belay device to a seat or for quickly building a belay.

The main advantage of the Kwiklock mechanism is speed and convenience. The safety catch automatically returns to the locked position when released, so you don't have to worry about forgetting to lock it.

Extra wide top arch allows for smooth rope movement and provides plenty of room for multiple knots or belay devices
