The double-sided knit with two selectable insulation levels has temperature-regulating air pockets. The smooth knit, when in contact with the skin, wicks moisture into the 3D knit, where this moisture evaporates very quickly. When turned inside out, the functionality changes and the 3D knit retains more air next to the skin, which increases thermal comfort. Thanks to the 3D effect, the underwear easily adapts to various forms of stress during sports activities and changing ambient temperatures. The double-sided construction is used on cold parts of the body in the thighs and buttocks.

Norse company Devold produces wool base layers. In 1853, Ole Andreas Devold founded this company in Ålesund. A tradition dating back as this one is unique - it is surely the oldest producer of the wool base layer in the world.
Devold's base layers range from the light collection ''Breeze'' (which is best for the warmer months and sweatier activities) to the ''Expedition'' collection (best for very cold conditions). Other than base layers for every activity, they also make sweaters, headwear, gloves, socks and more.
