You have a weekend ahead of you in Austria, where you will be conquering the locally famous ice rinks. As your assistant, you take the CAMP M30 backpack - a small and lightweight equipment carrier specially designed for day hikes, winter climbing and mountaineering. Early in the morning you pack everything you need for a full day of ice climbing. When accessing things, you have the choice of either top or rear entry, which will save you work and nerves if you don't have much space around you. During long hikes, you will be pleased with the stability of the backpack thanks to the easily adjustable straps and 3 mm aluminum frame, which will not change shape even with things packed in.
The XAir ventilation system made of 3D EVA foam and breathable mesh will guarantee you constant comfort during increased exertion. Even with a heavier load, the straps won't chafe or cut into your shoulders uncomfortably thanks to the ergonomic shaping and padding at the contact points. The top lid pocket keeps important items like a road map, a charged cell phone, and a small first aid kit. You can store your folding poles in two side elastic pockets and attach equipment such as ice axes, helmet and backpack rope using additional straps provided. Even with a backpack loaded like this, it doesn't hinder your movement in any way and you can climb smoothly to the boarding point. Once there, you and your partner will prepare for the actual climbing and the fun can begin.
