ORTOVOX Peak 42 S backpack, 42 l, wild berry
ORTOVOX Peak 42 S backpack
A spacious and great-fitting backpack for weekly hikes in the mountains. The backpack is unique with its SWISSWOOL 3D BACK SYSTEM. If you sweat, the wool back system absorbs moisture and does not cool as much as other foam materials.
Convenient access to the entire main chamber is via a perimeter zipper or a pull collar under the top lid. Entering it is therefore very practical, and the bright interior helps orientation in the dark. The backpack also has a cleverly designed equipment attachment system, and if you add 42 liters of volume, you have a truly spacious, functional, and comfortable backpack for long expeditions.
For every demanding climb, whether you have to cross a glacier, climb a four-thousander or ski up and down several snowy ridges, the ORTOVOX PEAK 42 S will support you with a comfortable back system, functional details, the ability to easily attach all your equipment and a clear entrance to the main chamber.
You can attach all your equipment for alpine hiking, mountaineering and ski mountaineering to PEAK backpacks. Each piece of equipment has its place, is firmly attached, and assembly is quick and easy. The equipment does not sway and the backpack does not throw you off balance.
- skis (A-Skifix and D-Skifix up to 150mm)/snowboard/snowshoes

This “S” backpack variant is designed for people with a back length of 36 to 44 cm. However, the backpack can also be purchased in a variant for those of you who have a back length between 42 and 50 cm. The length of the back is counted from 7. cervical vertebra to the upper part of the pelvis. The backpack is not only modified in terms of the length of the back, but also changes in the shape of the shoulder straps and adjustment of the hip belt. The backpack thus fits perfectly and holds more firmly on the back.
