Women's ORTOVOX ALPINIST QUARTER SOCKS are the ideal companion for all mountain, climbing and alpinist tours. They are knitted from a mixture of Merino wool and synthetics. Thanks to this, they are very durable, pleasant and functional. Wool perfectly absorbs moisture into its core and warms even when wet. In addition, it has antibacterial properties and is able to neutralize odors. Polyamide fibers increase the durability and longevity of socks.

Each zone fulfills its purpose

Functional socks ALPINIST QUARTER SOCKS stand out above all for their ergonomic shape. During the process of seamless knitting, special zones are created, each of which fulfills its specific purpose:

  • Toes with flat seams to eliminate blisters.
  • Reinforced heel and toe, for better comfort and longer life.
  • 360° belt around the arch of the foot with excellent breathability and moisture removal.
  • The sock is ergonomically shaped for the right and left foot separately.
  • Ergonomically shaped ankle so that the sock stays in place and does not slide off.
  • Elastic cuff to prevent the sock from sliding down.
  • Reinforced knit on the shins for greater comfort.

Comfort thanks to Merino wool

Thanks to the natural properties of wool, they perfectly wick away moisture, have good thermoregulatory properties, neutralize odors and are very comfortable. They will very quickly become part of your indispensable equipment for long and demanding alpine hikes or alpine crossings.

The highest quality Merino wool

ORTOVOX uses only the highest quality Merino wool from Tasmania. Merino wool is a material that degrades only negligibly over time and retains its functional properties for many years. Merino wool comes only from selected farms that meet the strict ORTOVOX WOOL PROMISE (OWP) standards.

  • ORTOVOX obtains new merino wool from certified sheep farms that adhere to ethical principles of animal treatment.
  • Only wool from Tasmanian sheep meets the demanding requirements of the ORTOVOX brand.

These farms are regularly monitored within the OWP. The wool itself is 100% ecological and therefore extremely environmentally sustainable. Perfect comfort and a feeling of softness are provided by Merino wool thanks to the thin fibers that make up fine wool yarns. In addition, this wool perfectly regulates temperature and wicks away sweat, so you will feel comfortable in any conditions. In addition, thanks to its antibacterial effects, Merino wool neutralizes odors and is very easy to care for.

Uncompromising two-year warranty

ORTOVOX products are made of the highest quality, which is why solving any complaints is really easy. If you discover a manufacturing defect, whether it's a fraying seam, external fraying or a non-functioning zipper, just send the product to us and we'll take care of its repair, replacement or refund. For out-of-warranty repairs, ORTOVOX has its own service center where it repairs everything.

This legendary German company named Ortovox has been specializing in challenging mountain activities since 1980. They became popular, thanks to their avalanche transceiver ORTOVOX F2. It had a double frequency transceiver for searching avalanche victims. Except for safety systems and finders, they also offer apparel, backpacks, shovels, probes, and other freeride and alpine equipment.
