We created the ORTOVOX PELMO PANTS specifically in our MERINO SHIELD ZERO product line for the needs of climbers who need to rely on their gear for long climbing days, but still need their gear to be light enough. These climbing pants are made of abrasion-resistant material that is also stretchy, light and breathable. In addition, our women's ORTOVOX PELMO PANTS have a better-fitting cut with narrower pants, elastic seams and anatomically shaped knees, which will guarantee that they will follow your every step with ease.

Minimalistic but functional

When we thought about the functions of the ORTOVOX PELMO PANTS, we focused on the most important thing: Despite their low weight, the pants offer two practical pockets that comfortably fit essential small items and a special pocket for a map located on the thigh. Soft merino wool mesh inserts around the waist and pockets ensure the pants are comfortable where you need them most.

Protection and light weight: As the main material of the ORTOVOX MERINO SHIELD ZERO collection, we used a mixture of polyamide and elastane. Thanks to the chosen combination of materials, the resulting fabric is light, breathable, but at the same time very durable. The MERINO SHIELD ZERO range is water-repellent thanks to DWR technology.

ORTOVOX uses only the highest quality Merino wool from Tasmania. Merino wool is a material that degrades only negligibly over time and retains its functional properties for many years. Merino wool comes only from selected farms that meet the strict ORTOVOX WOOL PROMISE (OWP) standards.

ORTOVOX obtains new merino wool from certified sheep farms that adhere to ethical principles of animal treatment.
Only wool from Tasmanian sheep meets the demanding requirements of the ORTOVOX brand.
These farms are regularly monitored as part of the OWP. The wool itself is 100% ecological and therefore extremely environmentally sustainable. Merino wool provides perfect comfort and a feeling of softness thanks to the thin fibers that make up fine woolen yarns. In addition, this wool perfectly regulates temperature and wicks away sweat, so you will feel comfortable in any conditions. In addition, Merino wool neutralizes odors thanks to its antibacterial effects, and it is very easy to care for.

Uncompromising two-year warranty

ORTOVOX products are made of the highest quality, which is why solving any complaints is really easy. If you discover a manufacturing defect, whether it's a fraying seam, external fraying or a non-functioning zipper, just send the product to us and we'll take care of its repair, replacement or refund. For out-of-warranty repairs, ORTOVOX has its own service center where it repairs everything.
