Ortovox Col Becchei Women's Pants

Technical women's pants are made from a very durable and stretchy softshell material MERINO NATURTEC LIGHT from the Swiss company Schoeller®. The special knit is windproof, highly breathable, quick-drying and has high mechanical resistance. The wool on the inside absorbs moisture into its core, so it is dry on the surface and warms even when wet. The pants are light, comfortable and at the same time sufficiently durable.

Combination of synthetic and wool for maximum durability and functionality

The pants emphasize breathability and wind resistance. Therefore, MERINO NATURTEC LIGHT softshell from the Swiss company Schoeller® is used. The material has a water-repellent finish, which prevents dirt from sticking to it and water droplets run off. The wool on the inside quickly wicks away sweat and warms even after the pants are sweated through.

Practical pockets and Kevlar reinforcement of the pants

The pants have three practical pockets. Two side pockets with zippers are complemented by another pocket on the thigh, which serves as a beacon pocket. The lower part of the pants is reinforced with durable polyamide so that the pants can withstand the edges of skis and crampons. You can also unzip the lower part of the pants and put them over ski boots.

Sophisticated functional cut

The pants have a refined cut, ensuring maximum freedom of movement. Comfort is achieved through several technical features. The main part of the pants is made of stretchy Merino Naturetec Light softshell with DWR treatment against moisture and dirt. Only flat seams are used on the pants, which do not press anywhere. Elastic, adjustable waistband with Merino lining.

For demanding ski touring when you don't want to worry about the weather

The durable outer material and the functional inner wool together create great pants for ski mountaineering and ski touring. The stretchy material and ergonomic cut ensure maximum comfort and freedom of movement even during demanding physical exertion.

Highest quality Merino wool

ORTOVOX uses only the highest quality Merino wool from Tasmania. Merino wool is a material that degrades negligibly over time and retains its functional properties for many years. Merino wool comes only from selected farms that meet the strict ORTOVOX WOOL PROMISE (OWP) standards.

  • ORTOVOX sources new merino wool from certified sheep farms that adhere to ethical animal welfare principles.
  • Only wool from Tasmanian sheep meets the demanding requirements of the ORTOVOX brand with its quality.
These farms are regularly monitored within the OWP. The wool itself is 100% ecological, and therefore extremely environmentally sustainable. Merino wool provides perfect comfort and a soft feel thanks to the fine fibers from which the fine wool yarns are made. This wool also excellently regulates temperature and wicks away sweat, so you will feel comfortable in any conditions. In addition, Merino wool neutralizes odors thanks to its antibacterial effects and is very easy to care for.
