Reinforced areas on the jacket
Every centimeter of the jacket is made of three-layer GORE-TEX® Pro, and the shoulder and sleeve segments are made of a stronger 80 D material for greater resistance in the risk areas. Conversely, in the remaining places, valuable grams are saved by using a softer (40 D), but still sufficiently durable three-layer membrane.

MANASLU WOMEN'S JACKET is completely waterproof. It is a GORE-TEX® Pro membrane of the porous type. One such pore is twenty thousand times smaller than a water molecule and therefore only allows water vapor molecules to pass through. So the sweat vapor gets out, but the water drops don't get inside. Thanks to this, the membrane is highly breathable and waterproof at the same time.

A hood over the helmet is a matter of course
There are situations when it is impossible to do without a hood. Especially when it's windy or raining. The MANASLU WOMEN'S JACKET hardshell jacket has a Mountain HC Hood type that is compatible with a climbing helmet. It is equipped with a reinforced visor and the hood can be adjusted so that it fits perfectly even without a helmet. The drawstrings of the hood are sewn into the channels so that they don't bother you in the wind.

The most perfect seams
Small details make a big difference. Mountain Equipment hardshell jackets are sewn using smooth seams. You won't see any threads on the outside of the jacket. A jacket sewn in this way will last much longer, because the seam threads do not rub against the backpack, rock and other objects. Thanks to this, the absorption of moisture into the seam threads is also prevented, making the jacket even more resistant to getting wet. In addition, all seams are taped with waterproof tapes.

The perfect shape of the sleeves from the shoulder to the wrist
The entire cut of the jacket carefully copies your feminine lines. However, the developers have worked out many more details. Notice that the entire sleeve of the MANASLU WOMEN'S JACKET is made from one piece that extends from the neck to the wrist. It is supplemented only with small inserts that give it a perfect shape for active movement. In most jackets, you will find shoulder seams in places that are often overloaded with backpack straps. We eliminated this problem and perfected the anatomical shape and functionality of the sleeves. The cuffs of the sleeves are slanted, so they fit perfectly regardless of movements and at the same time protect against snow, wind and rain much better than straight cuts.

Zips that really don't get wet
For the pockets and the main zipper, Mountain Equipment used the highest model range of the renowned YKK® brand, specifically the Aquaguard® type. If water still gets through the zipper, there is a GORE-TEX® Pro fabric lining on the inside, after which the water flows down and continues out under the central zipper. Thoughtful, right?

The all-over zip of the jacket is two-way and there is a patent lock at the bottom. If you put on the jacket right up to the stand and don't want to put it under the seat belt, then unzip the bottom part of the jacket and secure it with a patent under the guard. Two large and one small pocket
