Rab Mythic Alpine jacket, orion blue
Rab Mythic is the new ultimate down jacket series, which focuses on an uncompromising ratio of weight and thermal insulation properties. Designed for mountaineers and alpinists who like to move quickly and easily. Every element, all zippers, adjustment systems and accessories were designed to be light and have a small volume, but at the same time the jackets maintain great thermal insulation properties. In this collection, you will find the lightest and warmest jackets that Raba has ever produced.
Rab Mythic Alpine
There is a middle ground in this series. Filled with 140 grams (size M) top quality goose down with 900 cuin filling and hydrophobic treatment from Nikwax. The outer and inner material is tested over the years, extremely light but nevertheless strong and windproof 10D Pertex® Quantum ripstop (28 g/m²). The outer layer is, of course, with a water-repellent DWR treatment, so you can withstand a light shower or persistent drizzle without degrading the heat-insulating properties of the feathers. In Raba, they also treated this with a hydrophobic treatment from Nikwax, which ensures that the feathers retain their loft much longer and do not lose their insulating properties so quickly after getting wet. Both of the mentioned modifications are, as is customary with the climate-neutral company Rab, without fluocarbons. The extreme lightness of the outer material allows the feathers to "inflate" to the maximum and fully utilize the high insulating properties of the 900 cuin feathers.
Jacket construction
The Rab Mythic Alpine jacket has a quilted construction on the chest that maximizes warmth and a classic construction on the sleeves with transverse chambers for better freedom of movement of the arms. In addition, the sleeves are sewn according to the new cut of the jacket with anatomically "pre-twisted sleeves". As soon as you throw the jacket on, you will immediately understand what we are talking about. The perfectly fitting hood is tightened around the face with an elastic hem that fits beautifully and seals the hood. If necessary, it is intended for use under a helmet. The central YKK® zipper is finished with a fleece lining to protect the chin and is one-way. The two large hand pockets are also with YKK zippers, but in order to save weight, they are not lined with feathers. The lower hem of the jacket can be easily adjusted on both sides and is treated with an anti-slip treatment.

How to measure.
Chest: Measure the entire circumference of your chest, just below your armpits.
Waist: Find the top of your hips and measure the entire circumference around your body.
Arm length: Measure horizontally from the centre of the back, over the shoulder, through the naturally bent elbow to the wrist.
Hips: Measure around the widest part of your hip area.
Inseam length: Measure from the crotch to the bottom of the ankle.
