The Rab Khroma Cirque Jacket is a ski touring jacket that you will use primarily as a main outer layer for both ascents and descents, offering maximum comfort in both. This was precisely the idea behind Rab's creation of this fantastic piece. From such a versatile ski touring jacket, we primarily demand excellent breathability, water/wind resistance, and an acceptable weight that isn't compromised by reduced jacket durability.Rab chose the top-of-the-line three-layer GORE-TEX Active 30D as the main material, which easily meets all these requirements with its water column and breathability parameters of 28,000 mm/Ret<4. GORE-TEX Active uses GORE® C-KNIT™ technology, allowing for a lower volume inner layer compared to standard three-layer laminates.
It features a three-way, fully adjustable hood designed to fit over a helmet, and a collar that perfectly protects the neck. Two large zippered underarm vents support thermoregulation during strenuous ascents when more ventilation is needed to expel excess heat, and simultaneously allow access to mid/base layers. Two large Napoleon chest pockets provide ample storage for all the essentials you need to carry.
The central, two-way YKK® AquaGuard® Vislon zipper, covered by a storm flap, allows for easy belaying with a harness in more technical sections when the rope needs to be managed. The jacket's hem can be easily and comfortably tightened or loosened thanks to an internal drawcord that is easy to operate even with ski gloves. All zippers on the jacket are YKK.
Backcountry/ski touring/ski mountaineering expeditions are exactly where this jacket will be most useful. A perfectly cut piece with a refined balance of protection, weight, and breathability that you won't take off throughout the tour, and you'll minimize changing insulating layers underneath.

How to measure.
Chest: Measure the entire circumference of your chest, just below your armpits.
Waist: Find the top of your hips and measure the entire circumference around your body.
Arm length: Measure horizontally from the centre of the back, over the shoulder, through the naturally bent elbow to the wrist.
Hips: Measure around the widest part of your hip area.
Inseam length: Measure from the crotch to the bottom of the ankle.
