Thanks to its low weight and great compressibility, you can easily pack it into a smaller backpack.

Innovative METAWOOL insulation provides exceptional warmth even in the coldest conditions and is made from 80% local Merino wool from Germany
The outer material is 100% recycled polyamide, which is robust, tear-resistant and windproof, which increases protection in harsh conditions.
PFC-free DWR water-repellent treatment protects against light rain and snow without the use of harmful perfluorinated chemicals
Loose fit allows for comfortable layering even with thicker base layers or wearing a back protector without restricting movement
The shaped hood with a high collar and elastic hem reliably protects the head and neck from strong wind and snow.
Thanks to its high compressibility, the jacket can be efficiently packed into a backpack, saving valuable space.
The jacket is sustainable and produced in Europe using a climate-neutral process, which minimizes the ecological footprint.

This legendary German company named Ortovox has been specializing in challenging mountain activities since 1980. They became popular, thanks to their avalanche transceiver ORTOVOX F2. It had a double frequency transceiver for searching avalanche victims.
