SWITCH PRE HOODED JACKET is a very light middle layer of a hybrid construction with excellent thermal insulation POLARTEC® Alpha® on the body and fleece knit Pontetorto® Tecnostretch. SWITCH FOR HOODED JACKET is an ideal insulating layer for fast and physically demanding movement in the winter mountains. The zonal construction ensures optimal thermal comfort and sweat drainage in individual parts of the body.
The upper material is lightweight Nylon 20D RS, which is stretchy, breathable and windproof.
POLARTEC® Alpha® insulating layer (80 g) in body, sleeve and hood segments.
Pontetorto® Tecnostretch 187 fleece knit in the arms, shoulders and side panels.
Active Fit – narrow and perfectly fitting cut for active and unrestricted fast movement.

Original POLARTEC® Alpha® military technology
The POLARTEC® Alpha® fabric was originally developed for the US military. This is a new technology with active insulation that can regulate body temperature both when moving and standing. In this version, it also has great breathability, thanks to which you don't have to take off every now and then or add more layers when it's cold. In addition, POLARTEC® Alpha® has excellent thermal insulation properties at minimal weight, is easy to pack, dries quickly and is easy to wash.
Top material PONTETORTO® Tecnostretch
The underarms, sides and top of the hood of the SWITCH PRE HOODED JACKET hybrid jacket are made of PONTETORTO® Tecnostretch knit. On the inside, it has a grid structure that perfectly wicks away sweat and regulates body temperature. At the same time, the channels create air pockets, thanks to which the sweatshirt provides excellent thermal insulation. Thanks to this structure, it is exceptionally light, breathable and elastic.
Technically cut and durable insulation
It often happens that you go hiking in the morning in a hardshell jacket and take it off after 10 minutes because you're sweating. With the SWITCH FOR HOODED JACKET, you can leave the hardshell jacket in your backpack even before the hike. This fleece middle clothing layer is designed for fast and physically demanding movement in really cold weather. When you sweat, the sweatshirt perfectly lets water vapor and at the same time insulates heat, so you can continue calmly and comfortably to the saddle at a brisk pace.
