At first I was skeptical about this product, what's the point of a balaclava - a cap and a neckband are enough - but after the first ride in sub-zero temperatures I quickly changed my mind and today I consider this product one of the best in my cycling wardrobe and I consider the decision to buy this balaclava as one of the best (since I don't have an unlimited budget, I have to decide what to buy and what not . The inside of the hood is made of very comfortable material, it is stretched towards the chest - it protects the neck and the upper part of the chest, you can wear it over the nose and under the chin, as already written above, if you wear it over the nose and you have glasses, they can fog up, but this does not reduce the value of the product. if the temperatures are even lower (everyone's thermal comfort is different, that's why I don't want to give specific temperatures) - I combine a hood and a cap under the helmet.

From the beginning, I was worried due to the fact that the WS membrane is also used in the mouth area, so the air does not pass out either after exhaling, it goes up and to the sides, where it can fog up the glasses/create moisture. The humidity is at a tolerable minimum and it does not show at all even at high intensity in sub-zero temperatures as the hood dries quickly and has a pleasant warm feeling. My glasses fogged up a couple of times, but it's just a matter of awareness as a person breathes. I didn't stretch it through my nose, there was no need. In the case of low intensity and breathing through the nose (which is probably a better option in winter), you will not have a problem even with occasional fogging of the windows. The chest part may seem unnecessary, but it protects the chest when the jacket is unbuttoned. It's cool even in minus, or you can put an overall under it and increase the thermal comfort.

I wear it even in cold weather and I don't feel cold. You just have to be careful, when you cover your mouth and nose it becomes difficult to breathe and your glasses fog up. But just pull the hood under your nose and the problem is solved. Someone with a smaller head will have a problem that the hood may be a little loose and it can be inflated. If someone has a bigger head, they don't have to worry about it not fitting. Definitely an excellent choice for the money?

At temperatures below zero, it is an indispensable tool. Even with stronger wind, the whole head is cool (the combination with a scarf on the forehead has proven effective for me - it blows the most around the helmet). Driving slowly uphill, my prescription glasses were fogging up, but that is probably unavoidable.

Very satisfied. It doesn't blow, it keeps the optimal temperature even in cold weather. I really consider the possibility of partially unbuttoning the jacket to be an advantage, where I still protect my chest and neck and at the same time I feel pleasantly cool under the jacket if the sun is shining and you are walking uphill.

Great thing for winter. It fulfills the function of both a cap and a buff. The membrane does not let the wind in, on the contrary, vapors escape from the inside. As for the temperature, it is more suitable below zero, already just above zero one starts to sweat.

Perfect for bike, motorcycle, running, hiking. You simply want to have this material with you in difficult conditions. I can't let it happen at Castelli, but it's a fact that they have set it up quite strangely with those sizes.

Since I already have one and it has proven itself, I added a few to my collection. I take two with me on trips in the winter. One dries out while I use the other. Or rather, one up the hill and the other down.

Excellent material.
Elastic and well shaped.
The neck part is a bit minimalistic.
Functional in all respects and excellent in appearance.
I would buy again, it's great.

Excellent balaclava for really cold conditions, well-designed front neck coverage and the front part is windproof. The size is rather larger than smaller.

Great accessory. You sweat under the hood, but you don't feel cold at all, even when skiing. It protects the upper chest well with the jacket unbuttoned.

fits well, pleasant material, personally ideal for me when it's below 5 °C outside, or when it's windy, I can tolerate up to 8 °C

It insulates well, the only drawback is when I put the hood over my mouth and nose, I can't breathe well. Solved by a cloth

Great balaclava, I use it all winter. It has a large overlap, especially in the front.
