ORTOVOX 140 Cool headband

ORTOVOX 140 is a light headband made from a combination of Merino wool and the cooling fiber TENCEL TM. It is elastic and quick-drying, which makes it suitable for wearing under a helmet. It contains a large amount of Merino wool, which perfectly regulates temperature, wicks away moisture and has antibacterial effects.

Material 140 COOL

100% sustainable and functional at the same time. The 140 COOL material is made exclusively from sustainable fibers and offers the best properties for intense alpine activities on hot days. It consists of 50% merino wool and 50% TENCEL TM fibers, which is a combination that creates a very soft and pleasant to the touch material.

The highest quality Merino wool

ORTOVOX uses only the highest quality Merino wool from Tasmania. Merino wool is a material that degrades only negligibly over time and retains its functional properties for many years. Merino wool comes only from selected farms that meet the strict ORTOVOX WOOL PROMISE (OWP) standards.
  • ORTOVOX obtains new merino wool from certified sheep farms that adhere to ethical principles of animal treatment.
  • Only wool from Tasmanian sheep meets the demanding requirements of the ORTOVOX brand.
These farms are regularly monitored as part of the OWP. The wool itself is 100% ecological and therefore extremely environmentally sustainable. Merino wool provides perfect comfort and a feeling of softness thanks to the thin fibers that make up fine woolen yarns. In addition, this wool perfectly regulates temperature and wicks away sweat, so you will feel comfortable in any conditions. In addition, Merino wool neutralizes odors thanks to its antibacterial effects, and it is very easy to care for.

It had a double frequency transceiver for searching avalanche victims.
