The outer layer of the ORTOVOX COZY RIB BEANIE is made of 100% recycled merino wool and thus ensures excellent temperature and humidity regulation. The pleasantly soft inner lining fits perfectly and reliably keeps out the cold and wind. A strong knit pattern, a wide brim and a cork logo patch give this cap a sporty look. To protect the environment, the ORTOVOX COZY RIB BEANIE is produced in Germany using a climate-neutral process.

Proven wool and new technologies

The lining of the cap is made of a hybrid material consisting of 45% Tencel, 43% Merino wool and 12% polyamide. Thanks to this light mixture of fibers, the material is very pleasant to the skin, has excellent thermoregulatory properties and excellent moisture wicking. At the same time, the knitted construction of the cap allows for optimal breathability during ascents and protection against strong wind.

The highest quality Merino wool

ORTOVOX uses only the highest quality Merino wool from Tasmania. Merino wool is a material that degrades only negligibly over time and retains its functional properties for many years. Merino wool comes only from selected farms that meet the strict ORTOVOX WOOL PROMISE (OWP) standards.

These farms are regularly monitored as part of the OWP. The wool itself is 100% ecological and therefore extremely environmentally sustainable. Merino wool provides perfect comfort and a feeling of softness thanks to the thin fibers that make up fine woolen yarns. In addition, this wool perfectly regulates temperature and wicks away sweat, so you will feel comfortable in any conditions. In addition, Merino wool neutralizes odors thanks to its antibacterial effects, and it is very easy to care for.

ORTOVOX products are made of the highest quality, which is why solving any complaints is really easy. If you discover a manufacturing defect, whether it's a fraying seam, external fraying or a non-functioning zipper, just send the product to us and we'll take care of its repair, replacement, or refund. For out-of-warranty repairs, ORTOVOX has its own service center where it repairs everything.
