The t-shirt is very breathable, which means it wicks sweat away from the body, and in order to make this feature even higher, which can also be used during sports activities with a higher intensity of movement, there are strategically placed mesh panels for higher breathability and better ventilation in places where it is more necessary. Norse company Devold produces wool base layers. In 1853, Ole Andreas Devold founded this company in Ålesund. A tradition dating back as this one is unique - it is surely the oldest producer of the wool base layer in the world.
Devold's base layers range from the light collection ''Breeze'' (which is best for the warmer months and sweatier activities) to the ''Expedition'' collection (best for very cold conditions). Other than base layers for every activity, they also make sweaters, headwear, gloves, socks and more.
