Suitable for increasing physical performance. Palatinose is a disaccharide, isomaltulose. A pure, white, crystalline powder derived from beet sugar, with a natural sweetness profile reminiscent of sugar. It has a GI of 32 and is the only glucose-based glycemic sugar that provides controlled energy intake over an extended period of time. When consuming sucrose, the level of glucose in the blood returns to its original values within one hour, with Palatinose it takes 2 hours. Digestion and absorption is practically complete at the end of the small intestine. If it is completely and slowly digested, it supplies the body with energy full of carbohydrates (4 kcal/g) for a longer period of time, which has an effect on a slow, overall lower rise in blood sugar. Its low GI allows a higher proportion of energy obtained from fat burning, compared to available carbohydrates. Athletes who use carbohydrates for endurance training, by ingesting Palatinose, induce increased fat oxidation, thereby saving muscle glycogen in the human body. Palatinose is also a better choice of calories for children, because it improves mental concentration and performance during physical activity, does not cause plaque and tooth decay, which is an excellent feature compared to other sugars. The powdered drink with Palatinose does not form lumps and remains in a dispersed state, with good solubility. It is also resistant to the action of microbes and lactic acid bacteria, so it is also suitable for milk drinks, cooking, baking, vegetable and fruit salads and wherever you want to add a healthy carbohydrate.
