The MIPS in the name stands for more protection, specifically the Multi-Directional Impact Protection System, which reduces rotational forces during impacts, minimizing the risk of concussions. Safety is further enhanced by the combination of a ceramic outer shell and an EPS inner shell. Large ventilation holes ensure fresh air flow, while the mesh protects against insects.
