Fenix E12 V2.0 battery
The new generation of the popular pocket flashlight Fenix E12 V2.0 for one AA pencil battery. The powerful LED MATCH CA18 provides a luminous flux of up to 160 lumens (ANSI). Thanks to its compact dimensions and weight of only 27.3 grams, the lamp is suitable for everyday wear (EDC). A unique innovation is a special collimator that creates a wide light cone with a surprising afterglow of 68 meters. The collimator is made using technology used in the automotive industry and its height is only 3 millimeters. Fenix E12 has three performance modes with a duration of operation of up to 70 hours. It goes without saying that the high quality of the design, durability and waterproofness according to IP68. This light is the successor to the first generation Fenix E12 model.
All lamp parameters (luminous flux, battery operation time, waterproofing, afterglow and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.
Fenix E12 V2.0 flashlight parameters
- A powerful MATCH CA18 LED with a lifespan of 50,000 hours is used.
- Three power modes: 160 lumens (1 hour) -> 30 lumens (13 hours) -> 5 lumens (70 hours).
- Duration times are measured with the included alkaline battery.
- Uses one pencil battery (type AA - alkaline, lithium or rechargeable NiMH). These batteries are cheap and widely available.
- Energizer L91 Ultimate Lithium lithium pencil batteries (especially suitable for extreme conditions and expeditions) will provide the longest duration.
- Protection against accidentally inserting the battery upside down (reverse polarity).
- A special super-thin collimator only 3 mm high, made with technology used in the automotive industry, with an afterglow of up to 68 meters (1133 cd).
- Solid steel double-sided clip for safe and easy carrying of the lamp (removable).
- Dimensions 7.76 cm (length) x 1.9 cm (head diameter) x 1.76 cm (body diameter).
- Weight 27.3 grams (without battery).
- Made of aviation hardened aluminum type T6, durable surface - Type III hard anodized.
- Impact-resistant from a fall from a height of 1 meter.
- Waterproof according to the IP68 standard (tested under water at a depth of 2 meters).
- The package includes a wrist strap, an alkaline battery and a spare sealing o-ring.
- As an optional accessory, it is possible to purchase, for example, a LockBlocks bicycle holder, a silicone holder or a head strap.
Using the Fenix E12 V2.0
To turn it on, press the switch located at the end of the lamp. The lamp always switches on to the lowest mode of 5 lumens. When the lamp is on, you can change the power modes at any time by pressing the button (they switch cyclically from low - medium - high).
Warning
- Do not disassemble the sealed part in the lamp head yourself, this will void the warranty.
- Use only high-quality pencil batteries to avoid damage to the lamp, for example, due to leakage of substances from the battery.
- If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after a long period of use, replace them. The rings must also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. By following these rules, the lamp will be properly protected against water.
- If the lamp flashes or does not light up, it may be for one of the following reasons:
- Batteries are almost empty - replace them.
- The contacts inside the lamp are clogged - clean them with a cloth soaked in alcohol.
- The lamp body is loose, tighten it.
