This combination of aesthetics and efficiency redefines performance standards for demanding cyclists. The main advantage of ceramic bearings is their long lifespan. They are rounder and harder than traditional balls, less sensitive to dust or debris, and guarantee consistency and durability. Furthermore, ceramic does not corrode. These physical properties ensure that the bearings have a lifespan 4-6 times longer than standard steel bearings. Lower friction is the best-known and most significant advantage of ceramic bearings. The perfect roundness and hardness of the balls, combined with optimized ceramic-specific lubricants, allow for a reduction in friction forces acting on the bearing by up to 18%.
