Lapierre Xelius DRS 9.0 bike, cold rain grey
Lapierre Xelius DRS 9.0 Bike
Unleash pure riding pleasure on the open road with the fourth generation of the Lapierre road bike, meticulously engineered for speed and performance. The enhanced aerodynamic design cuts through the air like never before, propelling you forward faster and smoother with every pedal stroke. This bike isn't just built for riding; it's a celebration of passion and the relentless pursuit of excellence spanning over 75 years of Lapierre's heritage, and every ride with it is a chance to feel alive and free.AERO category road bikes are increasingly becoming versatile machines, gradually replacing Performance bikes. And the new Xelius DRS unifies and replaces these two segments in the Lapierre collection. Data clearly shows that air resistance is key, and this very saving helps the rider improve and save precious seconds that decide races.
Aerodynamics
The frame's aerodynamics play a crucial role, backed by extensive testing in wind tunnels and computer simulations. Thanks to this, air resistance of the frame itself has been reduced by 16% compared to the previous generation Xelius SL, and this significant advantage provides the rider with a saving of 15.8 W at a speed of 50 km/h.
Carbon Frame
3D Tubular™ This is the unique and logical connection of the seat stays to the top tube far ahead of the seatpost. It leaves the seat tube free along its entire length and capable of better vibration damping, providing the rider with the necessary comfort.
There are two types of frames available, which do not differ in shape but only in the choice of carbon fibers and the amount of resin. The elite frame designated UD SLI TEAM LIGHT, weighing 790 g (size M before painting), is exclusive to the top models 10.0 and 11.0 (SE). The weight of the standard frame is 908 g.
Geometry
The most significant changes in geometry are a 0.5° steeper seat tube (74°). A shorter head tube with lower air resistance and a longer reach for a sportier riding position focused on performance. Size XXL has also been added for riders over 195 cm.
Cockpit and Components
The highest models designated 8.0 - 11.0 are equipped with DT SWISS carbon wheels and the all-new Lapierre combo (325 g). Part of all models is a carbon aero seatpost with zero offset.
Bicycles that are often ridden by professional athletes. Uncompromisingly light weight and powerful machines, equipped with the best that the component manufacturers have to offer.

All bicycles at the MTBIKER shop are new, not-ridden, from an official distributor and with a full warranty. Several brands even offer a lifetime warranty on the frame after registration. We perform all warranty services in MTBIKER stores after personal delivery or after sending the bike (or its part) by courier.
- The bicycle is taken out of the manufacturer's box
- The bicycle is assembled, inspected and adjusted (front and rear derailleur, shock, fork, wheels,...)
- The bicycle is carefully packaged back into a box and shipped
- If you order a bike for in-person pick-up or home delivery, the bike will be waiting for you assembled and checked
- If you order a bicycle via courier to your home address, the following must be done at home:
- Take the bike out of the box and carefully remove safety material and foils
- Mount handlebar to stem (1 minute, 4 or 5 mm hex hey is needed).
- Mount front wheel to fork (1 minute, without the need of any tools if the bike has a quick release).
- Loosen the screws in the headset, straighten the stem with the front wheel, tighten the upper screw on the fork and then tighten the headset (2 minutes, 4 or 5 mm hex key is needed).
- Mount the pedals to the cranks while lubricating the thread and carefully mounting it the right way (1 minute, 8 mm hex key or 15 mm wrench).
- Mount seat post to frame (10 seconds, without needing any tools if the frame has a quick link).
- Inflate the tires or fork and shock to desired pressure (2 minutes, pump needed).
- Check the tightening of hex keys and quick-releases (2 minutes, 4 and 5 mm hex key is needed).
- Go for a test drive! Handle your bicycle carefully until you get used to it. If the bike has disc brakes, their performance will be limited from now on - they will gain their full power after 4-5 strong brakes at higher speed.
