Lapierre Xelius DRS 7.0 bike, undergrowth green
Lapierre Xelius DRS 7.0 Bike
Unleash pure riding joy on the open road with the fourth generation of the Lapierre road bike, meticulously engineered for speed and performance. The enhanced aerodynamic design cuts through the air like never before, propelling you forward faster and smoother with every pedal stroke. This bike isn't just built for riding; it's a celebration of passion and the relentless pursuit of excellence that has defined Lapierre for over 75 years, making every ride an opportunity to feel alive and free.
Road bikes in the AERO category are increasingly becoming versatile machines, gradually replacing Performance bikes. The new Xelius DRS unifies and replaces these two segments within the Lapierre collection. Data clearly shows that air resistance is crucial, and this very saving helps the rider improve and save precious seconds that decide races.
Aerodynamics
The frame's aerodynamics play a key role, backed by extensive testing in wind tunnels and computer simulations. As a result, the frame's air resistance has been reduced by 16% compared to the previous generation Xelius SL, providing a significant advantage that saves the rider 15.8 W at a speed of 50 km/h.
Carbon Frame
3D Tubular™. This is a unique and logical connection of the seat stays to the top tube, far ahead of the seatpost. This leaves the seat tube completely free along its entire length, allowing it to better absorb vibrations and provide the rider with the necessary comfort.
There are two types of frames available, which do not differ in shape but only in the choice of carbon fibers and resin content. The elite UD SLI TEAM LIGHT frame, weighing 790 g (size M before painting), is exclusive to the top models 10.0 and 11.0 (SE). The weight of the standard frame is 908 g.
Geometry
The most significant changes in geometry include a 0.5° steeper seat tube (74°). A shorter head tube with reduced air resistance and a longer reach for a sportier, performance-oriented riding position. An XXL size has also been added for riders over 195 cm.
Cockpit and Components
The highest models designated 8.0 - 11.0 are equipped with DT SWISS carbon wheels and the all-new Lapierre combo (325 g). All models feature a carbon aero seatpost with zero offset.
A road bike for experienced road riders who ride thousands of kilometers in a year. Suitable for regular or demanding training, amateur races and long trips. You can count on great equipment and light weight.

All bicycles at the MTBIKER shop are new, not-ridden, from an official distributor and with a full warranty. Several brands even offer a lifetime warranty on the frame after registration. We perform all warranty services in MTBIKER stores after personal delivery or after sending the bike (or its part) by courier.
- The bicycle is taken out of the manufacturer's box
- The bicycle is assembled, inspected and adjusted (front and rear derailleur, shock, fork, wheels,...)
- The bicycle is carefully packaged back into a box and shipped
- If you order a bike for in-person pick-up or home delivery, the bike will be waiting for you assembled and checked
- If you order a bicycle via courier to your home address, the following must be done at home:
- Take the bike out of the box and carefully remove safety material and foils
- Mount handlebar to stem (1 minute, 4 or 5 mm hex hey is needed).
- Mount front wheel to fork (1 minute, without the need of any tools if the bike has a quick release).
- Loosen the screws in the headset, straighten the stem with the front wheel, tighten the upper screw on the fork and then tighten the headset (2 minutes, 4 or 5 mm hex key is needed).
- Mount the pedals to the cranks while lubricating the thread and carefully mounting it the right way (1 minute, 8 mm hex key or 15 mm wrench).
- Mount seat post to frame (10 seconds, without needing any tools if the frame has a quick link).
- Inflate the tires or fork and shock to desired pressure (2 minutes, pump needed).
- Check the tightening of hex keys and quick-releases (2 minutes, 4 and 5 mm hex key is needed).
- Go for a test drive! Handle your bicycle carefully until you get used to it. If the bike has disc brakes, their performance will be limited from now on - they will gain their full power after 4-5 strong brakes at higher speed.
