The new R5 Overcurve model continues the qualities of its predecessor R5B and takes them even further. With its design, stiff sole, used materials, but still at an affordable price, it offers an excellent mix of great features. The Boa IP1-A fastening in combination with one Velcro buckle securely and comfortably surrounds the foot. The nylon sole reinforced with carbon fibers is stiff enough for long road trips, and in combination with a comfortable insole, the fizik transfers every expended watt of power to the pedals. The upper part of the shoe is made of durable and at the same time easy-to-wash Microtex material, sufficient ventilation of the shoe is ensured by a system of laser-cut holes.
