This shoe features a Leatt RideGrip™ Pro rubber compound that is softer than standard RideGrip™ rubber. This means that pedal connectivity is even better and the shoe holds up better in slippery conditions.
The enhanced WaffleGrip Pro sole pattern is an inverted version of Leatt's WaffleGrip. This allows the short studs to dig deep into the sole, providing great traction off the bike when you need to walk.

The 5.10 freerider pro are narrow for me, so I reached for the Leatt. The boots are incredibly light, airy and fit well even on a wider foot, the boa system works, but the top Velcro tightening is kind of useless.
