Vizálne a na dotyk to spĺňa predstavu koženej omotávky. Jedná sa skutočne o poctivý materiál. Popis nezodpovedá realite … Hrúbka omotávky je po odmeraní šublerou v najpozitívnejších miestach 1,3mm (kde sa vzalo 2,5mm z popisu netuším)… čo je na gravelbike dosť spartanská hodnota. Dierovanie je taktiež úplne odlišné od ilustračnej fotky. Omotávka mi pasovala dizajnovo, tak som sa rozhodol ju použiť aj napriek totálnej nepraktickosti. Namotal som pod ňu nariedko starú korkovú omotávku a koženú som použil iba ako kryciu dekoráciu riadítok. Tam sa prejavilo zase úskalie 180cm dĺžky a kým som trafil správne rozostupy na 46cm rajdy, potreboval som 6pokusov. Rozhodne by som ju neodporučil na denné jazdenie pre hocikoho za účelom pohodlnej jazdy … myslím, že ak má nejaké uplatnenie tak na staré retro biky.
