The NAGO R4 PAS (Redesign 4) is an evolution of the iconic NAGO, the Prologo seat from 2008 that has already won the Giro d'Italia and many classics over the years.
Designed based on the needs of professional teams supported by Prologo, the new seat has been refined through "Pressure Map MyOwn" testing to meet the needs of all cyclists looking for maximum performance and comfort even on long rides.
Compact dimensions with a length of 245 mm and a T-shape, with a slightly advanced anatomical center, provide good freedom of movement in the saddle and maximize pedaling efficiency in all positions.
The semi-circular ergonomic shape makes the NAGO R4 PAS ideal for cyclists with average pelvic rotation flexibility, narrow width of only 137mm, best suits riders with a lower width of the ischium.
Compared to the NAGO R4 PAS 137mm, the 147mm version has 10mm more padding on the sides and 3mm on the top and is suitable for:
- cyclists with a wider gap between the sitting bones, who therefore require a wider base of support on the saddle;
- cyclists with a high body mass index (BMI) who can benefit from increased padding for better weight distribution;
- cyclists looking for an even more comfortable saddle.
The open version of the NAGO R4 PAS features two separate, completely independent sections made from the latest generation of variable density foams that ensure excellent support and comfort during all phases of riding.
In the middle is the Prologo PAS system: a wide central channel and a perforated base to eliminate pressure peaks even during maximum pedaling phases.
The base is made of long fiber carbon, a material that offers an excellent compromise between stiffness and comfort.
Nack (Nano Carbon Fiber) rail composed of carbon fiber, Kevlar and aluminum fiber for performance-oriented cyclists looking for maximum stiffness and lightness.
