Nova Ride, a French company founded in 2016 in Clermont-Ferrand, specializes in the design of high-end bicycle components. Nova Ride is more than just a brand, it is primarily a community of cyclists who have designed their own components in order to offer them at more competitive prices for passionate riders and cycling enthusiasts. The Nova Ride carbon derailleur arm concept is based on the modern and proven OSPW (Oversized Pulley Wheel Systems) system, which is characterized by the use of sprockets with more teeth than derailleur manufacturers use.

Carbon arms with a wall thickness of 3 mm ensure the maximum possible torsional rigidity when changing gears. Thanks to the upper 14-tooth and lower 17-tooth pulley, when the chain passes through the pulleys, its movement is optimized and bending as well as friction are minimized, which makes it possible to save 4-6 watts compared to a standard chainring. Both color anodized pulleys are made of solid duralumin alloy AL7075 and fitted with all-ceramic bearings with minimal rolling resistance that do not require any special maintenance or lubrication! All-ceramic bearings feature high-precision ceramic balls as well as ceramic raceways made of silicon nitride. The main advantages of all-ceramic bearings compared to standard bearings are their longer service life, lower weight, greater strength, lower rolling resistance and excellent anti-corrosion properties. Their weight is about 60% lower, while they are 7 times stronger compared to steel balls. The gasket used minimizes friction and protects the bearing against the ingress of dirt. The crash replacement program ensures the possibility of exchanging a damaged arm at the importer for a new one with a 50% discount from the selling price.
