This product allows you to easily "upgrade" the simplified Rally RS 100 to a full-fledged power sensing solution for both Rally RS 200 pedals. The package includes everything needed for easy installation to complete a full-fledged power sensing solution on both pedals.
Main advantages of a full-fledged solution for power sensing on both pedals
Standard metrics provided by the Rally RS 100 at the output - current and total power (W), cadence, etc. immediately add advanced measurements and metrics.
Extended output after upgrade - connecting Rally RS 100 Pedal upgrade offers among other things data related to the analysis of already obtained data, which describe:
CYCLING DYNAMICS - display of complete performance metrics on a compatible Edge*, providing graphical output with information on time spent in the saddle/stance, power phases, power phases, pedal center of gravity (PCO), power phase angles, and more.
TE= Torque Effectiveness.
Seated / Standing position - time spent standing / sitting on the pedals.
PS= Pedal Smoothness - smoothness of pedaling.
FTP = Functional Threshold Power - the highest average power you are able to maintain for 1 hour.
IF = Intensity Factor - expresses the relationship of the effort expended to your maximum or. Calculating training intensity against current level/abilities.
TSS = Training Stress Score - a method of measuring the load on the body during riding. The TSS value helps balance the intensity of training and the body's subsequent regeneration.
PP = Power Phase - the power phase provides valuable information about the application of power during the crank revolution.
NP = Normalized Power - estimated power you could maintain if your output power was perfectly constant (steady) - also recalculated based on differences caused by e.g. strong wind / climbs, etc.
