Arclight pedals are designed for maximum safety on the bike. Powerful LEDs and long-lasting rechargeable batteries ensure you are seen in low visibility. The pedal is also designed with maximum traction in mind, both on and off-road, ensuring excellent grip in all weather conditions.
Scientific studies conducted by Clemson University in the USA have shown that adding so-called bio-motion light (movement that is associated with the natural movement of the human body) increases the visibility of your bike at night by up to 57% compared to standard front/rear lights. The circumferential design of the pedal body is designed so that the pedals illuminate every angle of your wheel at night.
The light modules turn on automatically as soon as movement and pedaling occur. They will automatically turn off again when you park the bike. SmartSet sensors dynamically change the color of the LED bulbs depending on the orientation, so you always have white light in front and red light in back.
