· Before riding, check that the pedal lock force meets the requirements. It is recommended to adjust it to a comfortable level before riding.
· It is forbidden to replace third-party pedals without permission, as this may damage the product, rendering it unusable and voiding the warranty.
· Never tighten and install the power meter pedals by holding the power meter module in your hand - this may damage it.
· Use only a 5V output voltage USB adapter for charging. Excessive voltage may damage the product. Do not short-circuit or touch the charging head with metal objects during charging.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Things to watch out for:
1. Do not use a high-pressure water jet to clean the power meter when washing the bicycle.
2. The power meter module is designed to be splash-proof, do not immerse it in water.
3. Do not subject the power meter module to strong impacts - this may cause it to loosen or damage the force sensor.
4. Check the functionality of the pedals and locking plates before each ride. If the plate is too worn, it may lead to accidents.
5. Before riding, make sure that the distance between the shoe and the power meter module is at least 2 mm. If the soles, upper or locking plate touch, do not use the product - this could damage the module and void the warranty.
6. Do not attempt to open or disassemble the pedal body or power meter module - this could damage the sensor and void the warranty.
7. Use a neutral detergent for cleaning. Do not use alkaline agents or thinners - they may shorten the life of the module housing.
8. The power meter module uses 2.4 GHz wireless communication. Objects and the environment may cause signal interference. If this occurs, try testing the device in an open area. Electromagnetic waves and interference may lead to inaccurate measurements.
9. Natural wear and tear and performance degradation due to age are not covered by the warranty.
10. Do not store or use the device for extended periods in high temperature or humid environments (e.g. in a closed car exposed to the sun, near heating equipment or in a sauna).
