The LOOK KEO Blade Carbon road pedals with the revolutionary planchet patent come for 2020 with a new version with ceramic bearings. The main advantage of ceramic bearings is a long service life. Rounder and harder than traditional balls, they are less sensitive to dust or deposits and guarantee consistency and durability. In addition , ceramics are not subject to corrosion. These physical properties ensure that the bearings last 4-6 times longer than standard steel bearings. Lower friction is the best-known and most prominent advantage of ceramic bearings. The perfect round shape and hardness of the balls in combination with optimized lubricants specific to ceramics enable a reduction of the frictional forces acting on the bearing by up to 18%.|
