I bought it to try out the easy in features of this design with my Saint pedals. I wasn’t expecting to see a massive improvement and I didn’t. But it is noticeable. Especially as clicking in has been my most consistent gripe with Shimano and Crank-brothers pedals.

CS Přišrouboval jsem a víc se o ně nestaral. Dobře nacvakává, vycvakává.

Product questions
thumb_up1thumb_down

It's not clear to me from the description whether it's one case (a shoe) or a set of two (for both shoes), even though there's only one in the picture and the name is plural . Can you fill that in? Thanks.

SK Dobrý deň,

zarážky sa predávajú v páre - teda na pravú aj ľavú nohu. Kompletné ako je na obrázku - teda vrátane skrutiek a položiek.

Hello. Can these stops be snapped in and out in different directions? Or just snapped in different directions. Thanks for the reply.

WARNING
For information on installation, adjustment, and replacement of products that is not found in the user's manual, please contact the place of purchase or a distributor. A dealer's manual for professional and experienced bicycle mechanics is available on our website (https://si.shimano.com).
For safety, thoroughly read this “user's manual” before use, follow it for proper use, and store it for future reference.
The following instructions must always be observed to prevent personal injury and physical damage to equipment and surroundings. Instructions are classified according to the degree of danger or damage that may occur if the product is used incorrectly.
DANGER - Failure to follow instructions will result in death or serious injury.
WARNING - Failure to follow instructions could result in death or serious injury.
CAUTION - Failure to follow instructions could result in personal injury or physical damage to equipment and surroundings.

WARNING
- Do not disassemble or modify the product. This may cause the product to malfunction, you may fall unexpectedly and suffer serious injury.
- Before attempting to ride with these cleats (on shoes), make sure you understand the operation of the engagement/release mechanism of the pedals and cleats (on shoes). SPD pedals are designed to release only when necessary. They are not designed to release automatically if you fall off the bike.
- Use only SPD shoes with this product. Other types of shoes may not release from the pedals or may release unexpectedly.
- Use only SHIMANO cleats and securely tighten the mounting screws to the shoes. If the screws are not securely tightened, you may fall if the cleats do not release.
- Before attempting to ride with these pedals and cleats, brake, then place one foot on the ground and practice engaging and releasing each cleat from the pedal until you can do so automatically and with minimal effort.
- First, ride on a flat surface until you learn to engage and release the cleats from the pedals.
- Before riding, adjust the cleat retention force on the pedals to suit your needs. If the cleat retention force on the pedals is low, the cleats may release accidentally, you may lose balance and fall off the bike. If the cleat retention force on the pedals is high, the cleats may not release easily.
- When riding at low speed or if there is a possibility that you may need to stop (e.g., at a full turn, at an intersection, when riding uphill or turning a sharp corner), release the cleats from the pedals beforehand so that you can quickly put your feet on the ground if necessary.
- When riding in adverse conditions, use a lower cleat retention force to attach the pedal cleats.
- To ensure proper engagement and release, keep the cleats and binding free of dirt and debris.
- Remember to regularly check the cleats for wear. When the cleats are worn, replace them and adjust the cleat retention force before riding and after replacing the pedal cleats. If you do not heed the above warnings, the shoes may not come out of the pedals when you want them to, or they may come out unexpectedly or accidentally, and serious injury may result.
- If the reflectors are dirty or damaged, do not continue to ride the bicycle. Otherwise, it will be difficult for oncoming vehicles to spot you.
