Zipp SL 70 Aero handlebar Ø-31.8 mm/420 mm
The SL-70 Aero handlebars are unidirectional carbon fiber and full of innovations for best-in-class ergonomics, fit and aerodynamics. The upper part of the handlebars has a wing shape according to the latest Zipp improvements and builds on the aero concept of the Vuka Sprint handlebars that set the trends. The shape of the wing was designed using CFD Computational Fluid Dynamics technology.
The difference in this design is real – it saves 6.4 Watts compared to handlebars with a circular cross-section of the handlebar top. In addition to aero performance, the SL-70 Aero is also equipped with a 70mm reach for the correct adjustment of the rider's position on the bike and without the need to limit the length of the stem and the quality of control. In addition, the changed 10° bevel angle of the lever attachment does not require turning the handlebars upwards. The handlebars also provide plenty of wrist space when riding and sprinting in cornering grips.
