Giant Propel Advanced SL Disc FF 2019
We created a carbon frame made of the highest class Advanced SL material with an integrated Vector seatpost using the unique AeroSystem Shaping technology, which allows us to achieve excellent aerodynamic properties. Another advantage of the frame is the internal guidance of the bowden cables, which are also hidden on the handlebars, where they lead through the Giant Contact SLR Aero stem. The disc brakes are mounted on the frame using modern flat-mount mounts and are complemented by 12mm fixed axles, which provide the necessary rigidity.
ULTRA-LIGHT CARBON FRAME ADVANCED SL
The best available raw material is woven with the utmost care in our own factory, where it is subsequently used to create racing frames with the absolute best ratio of stiffness, strength and weight. Advanced technologies such as CNT - Carbon Nanotube Technology are used in the production process, as well as the so-called Fusion process and also a unique technology called Continuous Fiber - all for high rigidity and strength while keeping weight as low as possible.
AEROSYSTEM SHAPING TECHNOLOGY
We use this unique technology in the production of Propel, Trinity and Liv Envie frames. Research in the field of CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) and tests in the aero tunnel brought us important knowledge and data that we used to optimize the shapes of frame tubes and their joints, so that the resulting frame offers the best aerodynamic properties.
ADDITIONAL BENEFITS
The integrated seatpost type Vector brings better aerodynamics, higher comfort and also weight savings. Disc brakes ensure a high braking effect. These are mounted on the frame using modern flat-mount mounts and are complemented by 12mm fixed axles, which provide the necessary rigidity. The tangled wheels of our own production have high carbon rims (42/65 mm) and are fitted with tubeless tires to reduce the risk of defects and better driving characteristics.
