FOX Volume and Travel Tuning Kit for FLOAT X GENIE shock absorbers
The original FOX air Volume Tuning & Travel Kit is designed for precise tuning of FOX FLOAT X GENIE shock absorbers from model year 2025. It allows you to adjust the air spring characteristics and overall travel so that the suspension best matches the frame kinematics and riding style. The inserts work with GENIE technology with two air chambers and help smoothly connect the sensitive start of the stroke to a more pronounced progressivity at the end of the stroke.
Volume inserts are installed in the air chamber and by reducing its volume, they increase support in the middle of the stroke and reduce the risk of hard stops. Travel spacers mechanically limit the shock's travel, which is important when adapting to specific frames and desired bike geometry. A properly tuned shock absorber improves stability in technical terrain, increases rear wheel traction, and reduces shock transmission to the frame bearings and front fork.
The set includes various sizes of inserts made of durable engineering polymer for complex tuning. During assembly, it is essential to completely release the pressure from both air chambers of the GENIE shock absorber and to work cleanly to avoid damaging the seals or internal valves. It is recommended to proceed in small steps and verify each change by driving in real terrain.
